Privacy Policy

This page explains, in general terms, what information we may collect about you and how we may use it.

Effective June 2, 2026 · Last updated June 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Murhaf Abulees, operating as Last-Slide ("we", "us"), may collect, use, and disclose information when you use the Last-Slide website, applications, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Murhaf Abulees, a sole proprietor based in Kuwait. We act as the data controller for personal information processed through the Service. You can reach us at me@murhaf.dev.

2. Information we may collect

We may collect or receive the following categories of information:

  • Account information you provide or that we receive from your chosen sign-in provider — for example your name, email address, profile picture, and a stable account identifier.
  • Content you create using the Service, including any text, code, files, images, and configuration you author, upload, or publish.
  • Usage and device information such as approximate location (derived from your IP address), browser and device type, pages viewed, and interactions with the Service.
  • Communications you send to us (for example, support requests) and limited metadata about those communications.
  • Payment information if you purchase a paid plan — handled by our payment processor; we do not see or store full card details.

3. Sign-in via third-party providers

If you sign in using a third-party provider (such as Google), that provider shares limited profile information with us — typically your email address, name, and profile picture — solely so we can create and maintain your account. We do not request or use any other data from your third-party provider account.

4. How we may use information

We may use information for purposes including:

  • Providing, maintaining, and improving the Service
  • Authenticating you and securing your account
  • Detecting, preventing and addressing fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues
  • Processing transactions and providing customer support
  • Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our terms
  • Communicating with you about your account or material changes to the Service

5. Legal bases (EEA / UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases for processing: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where required.

6. How we may share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, infrastructure, authentication, analytics, payments, communications, and similar functions). These providers are contractually limited to using information only on our behalf.
  • Other users, where you choose to share or publish content, collaborate, or interact through the Service.
  • Authorities or third parties when we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is required by law, necessary to enforce our terms, or necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of any person.
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

A current list of our material service providers is available on request to me@murhaf.dev.

7. Public and shared content

Some features let you make content public, share it with others, or interact in real time with other participants. Content you choose to publish or share through these features is not private; we cannot control how others may copy, store, or redistribute it. Don't place anything in shared or published content that you wouldn't want others to see.

8. International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one in which you reside. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms — for transfers of personal information out of the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland.

9. How long we may keep information

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected. When information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system can be guaranteed fully secure, and we cannot promise absolute security of information you transmit to or store on the Service.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service (for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences). We may also use limited analytics or similar tools to understand how the Service is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may affect the Service's functionality.

12. Artificial intelligence features

Some features may use third-party artificial intelligence providers to generate suggestions or content. When you use such features, the information you submit (and limited related context) may be sent to those providers for processing. We do not currently use your content to train our own AI models. AI-generated output may be inaccurate or unsuitable for your situation; review it before relying on it.

13. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact me@murhaf.dev from the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

14. California residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under California law, including the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the right to delete that information (subject to certain exceptions), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us using the email above.

15. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA / UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
